God of Wisdom, we pray for Pope Francis. May he be enlightened and supported in his efforts to lead us in the ways of Christ in these challenging times.
O Prince of Peace, we pray that peace will come to Ukraine. May those now in the midst of combat soon know the cessation of hostilities.
God of Hope, we pray for all refugees. May they be welcomed into countries and receive hospitality and the services needed to rebuild their lives
God of Mercy, we pray for our city, so impacted by violence. Guide those responsible for protecting our children. May their efforts bring safety and peace to our neighborhoods.
O Emmanuel, God with us, may your presence bring comfort to all touched by suffering this Christmas: the sick, the grieving, the lonely. May your joy lift their spirits.
