PETITIONS FOR THE 4TH SUNDAY OF EASTER – MAY 3, 2020
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL CHURCH
We pray for a listening heart—to hear the voice of Jesus who is our shepherd, not to wander needlessly and heedlessly but to respond and return to him with complete trust.
We pray for all pastors, the Holy Father and all bishops. May they speak prophetically and lead humbly.
We lift up students who are experiencing an unusual situation as the school year ends. May they find encouragement and optimism as they advance in life.
May we all become more sensitive to one another and tuned in to the disparities and inequalities that divide our society. May we have wisdom that moves us to action.
For the families of the sick and those who have died, that their faith comfort and strengthen them; and may divine mercy bring those who have died to eternal life.
