GENERAL INTERCESSIONS
5th SUNDAY IN LENT April 2-3, 2022
Forgiving God, help us to follow the example of Jesus,
condemning no one. Help us also to follow his advice to sin
no more, embracing the new life that You offer.
Peaceful God, we pray for Your influence on world leaders,
that they be mindful of imparting justice and mercy rather
than condemnation and violence.
Loving God, we pray for those seeking to join the Catholic
community this Easter, that their journey is one of faith, fully
supported and lifted up by all in our St. Vincent’s community.
Merciful God, we pray for the marginalized in our community
and throughout the world. Inspire us to reach out to those
living on the fringes with compassion and generosity.
Gentle God, we pray for all who suffer, that they are
comforted. We pray for those who have died, that they find
eternal peace.
