Immaculée miraculously survived the Rwandan Genocide in the 1990s but lost her parents, siblings and friends to the violence. Through God’s grace and her own determination she has been able to forgive those who killed her loved ones and now shares her testimony throughout the world, seeking to bring a message of healing and hope to all! In addition to the four sessions, in which she will present her own story, there will be inspiring music, opportunities for prayer, as well as the Sacrament of Reconciliation, time for quiet reflection and Holy Mass with Archbishop Charles Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. The Miraculous Medal Shrine (easily accessible by public transportation) will provide a wonderful environment for you to forgive those who have hurt you in life and begin sharing a message of hope and healing in your family, your neighborhood and throughout the world. There is no better way to begin your Memorial Day Weekend!

  • Friday, May 22, starts at 5pm and concludes at 9pm (light refreshment will be provided)
  • Saturday,May23, begins at 8:30 am and concludes at 2:30 pm (lunch will be served)

The cost of the two-day retreat (meals included) is $57. However, througha grant from the Martin de Porres Foundation, our Parish can attend for only $20 (but you are expected to attend both Friday evening and all day Saturday).
