Holy Thursday ~ April 1, 2021
Tonight let us pray for the Church, the Body of Christ.
May each person be recognized and celebrated
as a reflection of the God who loves us into life.
Let us pray for this House of Vincent,
and its many members, near and far.
May we always find ways
to kneel in humble service of one another.
Let us pray for our Jewish brothers and sisters
who celebrate Passover this week.
In the face of persistent anti-Semitism,
may their remembrance of God’s powerful deliverance
be an abiding comfort.
Let us pray for the grace to cherish each day.
Conscious of the brevity of life,
may we who have come from God, and are going to God,
be a blessing to those whose lives we touch.
Let us pray for those who live in fear of what tomorrow may bring:
for people nearing the end of their lives,
and for anyone who bears the cross of worry or grief.
May we die and rise with Jesus.
