CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD

Children 3 to 14 come to Sunday liturgy with their family, then celebrate the Word in groups appropriate to their age.

DANCE MINISTRY (Adult & Youth)

By incorporating gesture, movement and dance into our liturgies, the dance ministry strives to help the community embody a holistic approach to prayer and worship.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

Along with the Presider distribute the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Take the Eucharist to shut-ins and others who cannot attend Mass.

Meets adults considering membership in the Catholic Church through Baptism, and/or Confirmation and Eucharist, and baptized Catholics who want to receive Confirmation or Eucharist. TITHING MINISTRY

A portion of the parish income is disbursed "out to the community" in areas where there are scarce or no resources. Every effort is made to meet requests which fulfill basic human needs and promote social justice.

  • Renovates and rehabilitates houses and rents them to low income people, many of them formerly homeless;

DINING ROOM

Saturday/Sunday, 1-2 PM. Serves nutritious food in pleasant setting to over 200 low income people each day. Many volunteers from churches, schools, and organizations help cook, serve and clean up. Legal and nursing help, counseling and advocacy available for guests.

Nurses and other medical professionals provide health services to neighbors and Dining Room guests.

HOMELESS LEGAL ADVOCACY PROJECT

Artists, crafters and wannabe’s participate in the creative process with guests from the Dining Room and children in the neighborhood on some Saturdays and Sundays from 2PM to 4 PM.
